Fry: Brave or stupid Button badly advised

Nick Fry's apparent bitterness at Jenson Button's decision to leave for McLaren has the Brawn CEO questioning whether it's a brave move or a stupid one.

The Brit's decision to become Lewis Hamilton's team-mate has not gone down well with his former Brawn GP bosses, who believe he could be making a "stupid" mistake.

"We offered loyalty which we hoped, perhaps naïvely, he would return," the Brawn CEO is quoted as saying in the Mirror. "There is bravery and there is stupidity, and we will only find out which it is next year.

"We believe we made Jenson a good offer - one that was significantly more than he is being paid at McLaren. We are all mystified by this decision.

"We think he has been badly advised and had his head turned by McLaren's glitzy headquarters."
